Allow me to present my showreel 2010~!
At the same time, I still need to improving / keep practising conceptualize, digital painting, 3d modeling, texturing, rigging, animating, ligthing & rendering, compositing n etc etc etc... It does sound like the production pipeline (I am gonna do it all over again) !? As a generalist, i knew it is a very TOUGH path but i like it so much.

After 4-1/2 month of hard work, it comes to an END. End of learning phase!
GitGat - i got this idea while i sitting on the toilet bowl doing some "business" :)
Well, it's not a very impressive story line but i like it so much. It's just the opposite
idea of KitKat(take a break take a Kitkat)~! Got the clue?
Even though we don't have animator in our group, we still do our best to get it done.

Here comes the Heroes Shot~ So, what I going to do this round?
Daytime's footage for BabyShot last time,
for now I'm going to do night shots : )

Here are some shots i already confirm to use.

My hero wakes up in the middle of the night...

He walks on the table, jump onto the chair and then to the ground...

He did some funny stuff and wa lah... goes with the wind~

Shots are taken by DSLR ( I loves DSLR !!)

I got this idea from Making of Rising (Thanks to him)
He did it in 3d Max and everything in the scene is 3D. For mine,
I only need one paperman to do the dance : )

Baby Shot Done~!

I have done up the baby shot finally or i should say i have to stop editing the composition otherwise it will takes FOREVER to finish it up. Well, you will able to spot the flickering on the tree and stone lantern which i have masked it 4 times frame by frame (sad =_="...).
Addittion little bit of color correction on the over all shot.

P/S - i would grade myself 65/100 for this, still have long way to go~

Baby Shot's Update

Here is the 50% done baby shot - still got a lot of tweaking here and there.
Haven't done up the Sculpture to metal transition pass. By the way, this video show my last saturday progress. I have finished the 120 frame "manually masking" today... hopefully i could finish up everything and proceed to the heroes shot.

p/s - back pain... Ouch~

Wonderful D.painting lesson during 2nd semester :

The very 1st digital painting way before i join 3dsense, self-taught/learn from forum. Also, i had my 1st Bamboo Fun early of 2009.

The improvement after Alvin teached us some technique of digital painting. Black n white fruits.

Following with potrait painting - James bond Sean Connery

Kung Fu Hustle - Yuan Qiu. I love her character !

And the last but also our 1st color portrait - Old lady.

P/S - I felt lost at the moment, or i should say Depress. I'm behind my original schedule now. Need to do something to chase away this "depress" thing otherwise it going to ruin my VFX timetable. Kat, let's swim!!

Baby Shot~

Our very 1st assignment of VFX specialisation - Project "Baby Shot". Well, everything start from zero. My concept is - a statue came alive and add some simple animation on it. My fellow classmate and me spend half of the day on the taking live footages. We took almost total of 50 footages, but end up only 1~2 could match with our objective. Anyway, it's a good experience though.
So here are the footage i decided to use, spend half of day to done up the match moving with SynthEyes. Thanks to JD~!

And here are the roboter i'm going to put into the footage. My initial idea was a Gundam Exia but i'm not too familiar to animate in ONLY using attributes... so end up have to borrow this roboter.
